Color Doesn't Exist: A Practical Guide to Infrared Photography book

Here is an update on my upcoming book, Color Doesn't Exist: A Practical Guide to Infrared Photography. We are close to finishing the book and I'm hoping to release it this Summer. We've just received the second draft of the layout, are proofreading it, and should get to the final draft soon. As soon as it's ready, I'll share an update here. I know many of you are as eager to see this as I am to release it.

White Foliage in Infrared Images

In this video, I'll show you how to make foliage white in your color infrared images when using a 590 or 720 nm infrared filter. I'll cover a few techniques in Photoshop and Lightroom.

Which f-stop is the sharpest? GFX 50S Diffraction Test

In this video, I'll answer these questions: How do you to determine the sharpest f-stop for your camera and lens? Is diffraction more impactful in infrared light than visible light? I will test the sharpest f-stop on a Fujifilm GFX 50S full spectrum conversion at each aperture with multiple infrared filters, 550 nanometers, 590 nm, 720 nm, 830 nm, 850 nm, IR Chrome, and a hot mirror filter. I'll share the results and my observations.

Used Infrared Gear from KEH

I've purchased many infrared filters and lenses from KEH. Here is a selection of currently available infrared gear.
